My stay at this hotel was fantastic! The rooms were huge with lots of amenities, and getting wired internet spots in the room was comfortable and a great value, especially with breakfast included. The service was top-notch, very helpful and accommodating, especially after our taxi ride from the airport. The location was superb, just two blocks back from the Bund, offering great views without being noisy. The dining experience was pretty good despite being crowded, and the facilities were excellent.

I had a wonderful experience at the hotel. The rooms were luxurious with great views of the Bund and a separate living room area for added comfort. The service was friendly and accommodating, and the location was perfect for exploring Shanghai. The dining options were varied, although a bit hit and miss at times. Overall, a great stay with excellent value for money.

The hotel's atmosphere is reminiscent of a by-gone era with dark Chinoiserie furnishings, slightly noticeable smoke smell that did not cause offense, and an excellent view. However, free Wi-Fi would be a nice addition. The service was a mix of extremely helpful and unfriendly experiences, with a need to ask for extra towels daily. The unbeatable location near People's Square, the Bund, and Nanjing Road compensated for the hotel's shortcomings. The dining experience offered great variety but lacked seating space. The facilities were adequate, but nothing fancy.

The hotel had some of the cleanest rooms I experienced during my trip in China, with floor to ceiling windows offering a fantastic view over Shanghai's Bund area. The assistant manager was very helpful and kind, although there was an unfortunate incident of wanting 10x the agreed upon price. The location was superb, situated conveniently between The Bund and Peoples Square, offering a vibrant area with plenty of shopping and dining options. The dining experience, while more traditional Chinese, had a good mix of western and Asian choices. Overall, a great base for exploring Shanghai.

The hotel had some of the cleanest rooms I encountered during my trip in China, but they were shabbier than what I expected based on my previous stays in three-star hotels in the country. Despite the lack of a bathtub and some bathroom odor, the room was surprisingly nice and spacious for the standard rates, which left me a bit unhappy.
